General Information

We offer on-demand services that allow you to locate a phone’s one-time current location by entering a phone number. We do not provide live real-time tracking of location! 

Please note that in providing our service, we do not process any sensitive information about you (e.g., information related to your health, race, sexual orientation, political views, etc.).

We do not use nor combine with other information any of the personal information that we collect (from you or from the recipient) for other purposes, except for providing our Services.

We do not use our Services and not allow our Services to be used for creation of detailed profiles based on location data that can be used for targeted advertising or any other purposes.

How and why do we collect your personal information?

Generally, Company collects personal identifying information, such as the phone number/s you request to locate (whether being yours or of a recipient), together with a history of your requests on your account, your data when you register through the Services, when you participate in activities on the Services or communicate directly with Company. We also collect routine device and other personal information, and we use personal information to deliver advertisements that may be of interest to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. 

We collect personal information about you such as your name and email address, and phone number as well as other personal information when you message us using our “Contact Us” form, when you subscribe to our Services and pay for them, and when you send an email to us. We also collect details about your transactions when you purchase our Services. Like many companies, we also collect internet and device information, such as from cookies and other automated technologies, when you browse our website. 

We collect personal information for our business purposes, namely, to provide and improve our website and Service. Part of this includes compliance with applicable laws, such as responding to legal requests, enforcing this Privacy Policy and our rights, and protecting others and our Service. We may also use personal information for short-term, transient use for interaction with you and to personalize your experience and communications. How do we use your personal information?

We collect the following information for the referenced purposes. 

IDENTIFIERS

Identifiers such as email addresses and passwords (for log in purposes), name, phone number/numbers (yours or of any other recipient), unique personal identifier (if you log in via Google or Facebook - If you create an account using your login information from a third-party account we will access and collect the personal information about you that the third-party account provides based on your privacy settings with such third-party account. We collect only your email address when you log in via Google or Facebook.

We collect this information e.g., when you register for an account (email and password or unique personal identifier) when you subscribe to our paid Services (name, last name, address), when you are trying to locate a phone (phone number) etc.

We collect and use these types of personal information for all business purposes, such as creating and preserving your account registration, providing and improving our website and Services, responding to communications, and for security and auditing purposes. Depending on the specific purpose (e.g. website access, creating an account, corporate profiles, etc.), we collect one part or a combination of the listed information, but always in compliance with the rule for minimum use of personal information. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest to grow our business and open accounts for our users. Further, by agreeing to our Terms of Use you also lay the contractual basis for the collection of this personal information and the performance of the Services. 

LOCATION 

Category of personal information 

Geolocation – one-time current location of your phone or any other recipient/s, in case the latter has provided his explicit consent to share location.

Examples of Information Collected 

As described in our Terms of Use, our Services requires you to send an SMS/link (i.e., Find by Phone or Find by Link Services) to the recipient, and they will decide whether to share their current location with you. The Service is used entirely at your own responsibility to obtain the recipient’s consent. . 

Each received location is recorded in your profile and kept for a certain period of time (of max 1 year), where you will receive a notification about it. 

Collection Point and legal basis  

The geolocation of any detected phone will be collected at the moment the recipient clicks on the provided URL and allows their device to share the location. For security reasons and as additional data protection safeguards the Service is limited to (i) a certain number of attempts per day (when used with SMS) and to (ii) one-click-use only links, as these measures ensure that there will be no abuse of its use and are preventing a constant monitoring effect, which we do not offer as part of our Services. The legal basis for this processing of personal information is the consent of the recipient. The obtaining of such consent is the sole responsibility of the user.

We take responsible measures to avoid involuntary location sharing. In addition to all the purely technical and organizational measures we implement, we also emphasize, as we have described in detail in the Terms of Use, that it is your responsibility to send clear messages to the recipients of the SMS/link, ensuring they are not anonymous and clearly explain, as truthfully as possible, why you want to receive the location of a given recipient. We monitor for improper use of our services. With your SMS, an automatically generated message (disclaimer) from us is always included, stating that by clicking the link, the recipient gives consent to share their location. This consent is not stored by us, as it is not our responsibility to obtain it (we become aware of it due to the act of location sharing). The automatically generated message from us is intended to help raise awareness for the recipient and ensure the legal use of our services. 

A specificity of the provided by the recipient consent (as an opt-in feature) is that once granted the one-time current location is shared with you. This means that such consent cannot be revoked as by the time it was provided there was a legitimate legal basis for processing and the Service was completed. If the recipient no longer wishes to send you their location, they should refrain from clicking on any future links sent, as well as check/amend the settings on their phone. Of course, both you and the recipient can always contact us with any questions or requests for data deletion. 

COMMERCIAL INFORMATION

We collect this information when you purchase our Services. We do not collect or store credit card information and details. All payment information is collected and stored by Stripe. You can review their privacy notices here.

We collect and use these types of personal information with respect to the purchases and subscriptions you make via our website and mobile app. The legal basis for this processing is our compliance with applicable financial laws. In addition, by agreeing to our Terms of Use you also lay the contractual basis for the collection of this personal information. 

If you are located in the United Arab Emirates or any other GCC member state (namely: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia), your payments for our services may be processed by: East Fusion FZCO, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you are located outside of the GCC member states, your payments may be processed by: Dumosa Limited, Dublin, Ireland. After 28.04.2026, the payments of new users (meaning users started to use our Services for the first time after this date) located outside of the GCC member states may be processed by Mobitrace LLC, US. The applicable processing entity is determined based on your billing address, payment method, or other location indicators at the time of transaction. You acknowledge and agree that the relevant entity may collect and process your payment and billing data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We have implemented appropriate, always up-to-date and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process - against unauthorized access and its alteration, loss, or accidental destruction. All personal information is stored in an encrypted way on our servers using the latest encryption and protection technologies and standards available. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. No, we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of 13. How do we use or disclose sensitive information?

No, our Services do not currently respond to DNT requests. DNT is a feature that, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked. However, our site recognizes and responds to recognized global opt-out preference signals, such as GPC.
